Suvarnabhum Thai Restaurant in Frankfurt

Approx. Ordered 5 times at longer intervals either Thai Red or Green (both with chicken) curry. The first times the curries were okay, the last two times the chicken was tough and in our opinion not fresh, but like pre-cooked. We have been avoiding the restaurant since then. The prices are out of proportion, also in relation to the portion size. We really prefer to take the longer way to Chi Chi Thai at Bethmann Park and get a suitable price-performance there. Furthermore, who needs rice in the form of hearts or teddies? It cools down much faster that way. Those who act in a customer-oriented manner leave such spirits behind. What is the problem with serving the rice in a lidded vessel or at least deep bowls?

The food was very, very tasty and it actually tasted like on vacation. The dishes that were ordered tasted really nice according to the ingredients used, but it was NOT the typical flavor-enhanced taste that you often find in other Asian restaurants. We will definitely be ordering here again.

I've been here twice now and loved it every time. Very fit service, not a bit intrusive. Super delicious and fresh dishes at reasonable prices. In summer you can sit outside nicely.

A huge compliment on the freshness, choice of dishes, taste and service! Comfortable atmosphere when you sit inside / outside and nice service when you pick up. We go out to eat there as often as possible and just love these positive Thai people.

Dishes: - Tom Kha Gai: good flavor, somewhat too salty - Fried Shrimps: good, but pricey for the small shrimps - Phad Kra Pao mit Schweinefleisch: good traditional Thai dish; of course with an egg Best dish: Red curry duck with water spinach well-balanced sauce (a little bit too spicy) with a nice crispy duck skin Atmosphere: cheap Thai style Service: extremely slow service (same issue as the last time) - one hour for the main course Price: €51 with 2 beers and a Thai ice tea Summary: good Thai food at a reasonable price but bring a lot of time with you

Great Thai cuisine! Come to Frankfurt for an extra 30km. I love the homemade red curry!

A disappointment. I am Thai and was looking for a restaurant with original cuisine and lovingly prepared dishes. But here: The food is not made well from cheap ingredients. I had laab, my favorite dish, but I've never had it served so badly. It was completely unbalanced in terms of acidity and spiciness and fish sauce and onions, they were the wrong chilli peppers, the vegetables were wrongly presented and the duck is dry mass produce. In the other dish, the chicken was carelessly cut and the meat quality was poor. We had four dishes, all too oily. In the end it is unfortunately overpriced and not worth the money. It's a real shame. Ambience is more a snack than a restaurant. During operation, full garbage bags are dragged out of the kitchen through the store while guests are eating. The second star only exists because there are real Thai dishes on the menu and not just fried rice and coconut curry.

Very nice place, food is amazing, staff super friendly and they do accept cards! Definitely a 5-star for me ;)

Papaya salad only tastes like fish sauce although not mentioned on the menu. With a purely vegetarian order, you could also think about asking again before drowning the salad in it. Main courses were ok, but there are also better ones in the north end. Overall, very disappointing, especially after the good reviews here.

Old, cold rice as a side dish. No hot fresh rice in a bowl with a lid, as you would want. Spicy here means slightly spicy. Old shrimps in old soup.

Price performance ok

Definitely my favorite Thai restaurant in Frankfurt. Family atmosphere and honest Thai cuisine with dishes that are not everywhere. Sometimes a bit expensive but it's worth it. my tip: the 3-layer dish with duck.

Was in Suvarnabhum today ... I'm just thrilled, very good quality. Everything tastes great and is fresh. Service very nice and friendly. Will go there more often now

Good Thai home cooking in a simple but clean atmosphere. Friendly service. Worked well at the end of the day.

The food was delicious and also very authentic. I just annoyed at the bill as a dessert I had ordered baked bananas with vanilla ice cream so apparently not on the map. Yes and then on the bill were two desserts (baked banana and baked vanilla ice cream), so the dessert came to a total of 10.40 €. I also mentioned the service that we seem to have talked past each other and I just wanted to have a scoop of ice cream to the bananas, it came to meet any. This somehow has a negative taste.

Nice authentic Thai food

The best authentic Thai kitchen in Frankfurt. Make sure you try the Som Tam Papaya salad but make sure to be careful with the spice! Order with one chili if you're a beginner - thank me later!

Very good Thai restaurant. So far, the best Thai restaurant in which I was outside Thailand. Nice staff, very good and authentic food. There is also my favorite dish, steamed fish with lime-chili sauce (Pla nueng manao). Highly recommended!

Superlecker actually all dishes ... Very nice family service and simply cozy atmosphere. In addition very good price / performance ratio .. I have always been very satisfied !!

A small, lively restaurant with easy access. Service very authentic and courteous. The premises are peppered with Thai accessories. The dishes taste great (no glutamate is used)! Good value for money (the portion on the photo is € 12.50). Suggestions for improvement: - I would have liked Thai music instead of radio pop. - Chopsticks at least as an option - Bottle of water in GLASS - Beautify the access to the toilet I would definitely come back again!

My favorite Thai restaurant in Frankfurt. The owners are super nice, they make you feel at home. The food is awesome, real traditional Thai dishes cooked to perfection. Prices are affordable.
